The Bahamas government has announced a last-minute extension to the deadline for companies to report under the Commercial Entities (Substance Requirements) Act 2018 by a further month. The deadline has already been extended once, from September 2020 to 31 December 2020, and the Ministry of Finance says it will not apply late-filing penalties for entities that report before the end of January 2021.
